"Viridian" is the first river with a green pigment. It's something I've wanted to do for a while.
The hue of green took me by surprise - it is deep with beautiful blue undertones. It's name "Viridian" is derived from it's unique color.
The wood shows off the variety of comforting, earthy tones walnut is known for.
I had the idea to take wood from the negative space of a previous river to create a new river. This realistic river shape will not be replicated.
I envisioned "Viridian" being hung vertically, however, it can easily be hung horizontally as well (I have attached hanging hardware to do so, already).
